Iran criticizes the U.S. for Netanyahu’s visit, condemning support for crimes in Gaza

Iran criticizes the U.S. for hosting Netanyahu after the genocidal war in Gaza, as global outrage grows.

Iran has strongly condemned the United States for hosting Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, whom it labeled a “criminal,” amid a nine-month war in Gaza that has resulted in over 39,000 Palestinian deaths.

Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesperson Nasser Kan’ani criticized Western leaders for their hypocrisy on human rights issues, accusing them of ignoring fundamental violations of Palestinian rights, such as access to water, food, and medicine.

Netanyahu’s visit to Washington has sparked outrage, with protests and boycotts by Democratic lawmakers during his address to Congress, where he defended the Gaza offensive and rejected a ceasefire.

Netanyahu, along with Defense Minister Yoav Gallant, has been accused of war crimes, including using hunger as a method of warfare and deliberately targeting civilians.

Israeli forces have been responsible for the deaths of thousands of Palestinians, including children, leading to international condemnation and protests outside the Capitol.

The Iranian response highlights global disapproval of U.S. support for Israeli actions, amid growing tensions in the Middle East and criticism of U.S. policies in the region.
