Iran’s Acting Foreign Minister, Ali Baqeri Kani, asserted that Israel must face a tough and decisive response for its assassination of Hamas political leader Ismail Haniyeh, to make it clear that brutality comes at a high cost.
These remarks were made during a meeting with Jordan’s Foreign Minister, Ayman Safadi, in Tehran.
Baqeri Kani emphasized Iran’s commitment to developing relations with neighboring and Muslim countries, reflecting the principles of the Islamic Republic and the explicit directives of Iran’s Supreme Leader.
He highlighted the importance of unity among these nations to counteract efforts by enemies to turn differences into discord and conflict in the region.
Safadi, expressing satisfaction with his visit to Tehran, emphasized the Jordanian King’s focus on strengthening ties with Iran.
He reiterated the desire to deepen the historic and fraternal relations between Jordan and Iran, committing to transparent dialogue to overcome obstacles and enhance bilateral relations.
