Israel assures no change in defense policy towards civilians

Israel’s IDF confirms no change in civilian defense policy post-Hezbollah rocket attack, urging vigilance.

The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) stated that there will be no change in their policy to protect civilians following Hezbollah’s rocket attacks on August 3.

Most of the rockets were intercepted by Israel’s air defense. IDF spokesperson, General Daniel Hagari, emphasized that the Home Front Command’s policy remains the same and urged citizens to stay alert and follow instructions during attacks.

The region has seen increased tensions after the recent assassinations of Hamas political bureau chief Ismail Haniyeh and Hezbollah commander Fuad Shukr, attributed to Israel.
