31 people, including six children, injured in Ukrainian attacks on Russia’s Kursk region, reports say.

The number of injured from Ukrainian attacks on Russia’s Kursk region has risen to 31, including six minors, according to Russia’s Ministry of Health.

Nineteen of the injured, including four children, have been hospitalized, with three in serious condition. The attacks have led to the declaration of a state of emergency in the region.

Russian authorities are investigating the incident as an act of terrorism, following the shelling of residential areas and critical infrastructure on August 6.
