Hezbollah Attacks Israeli army division in Northern Israel

Hezbollah targets Israeli army division in Gaaton, northern Israel, amid escalating border conflict.

Hezbollah launched a rocket attack on an Israeli army division stationed in Gaaton, a kibbutz in northern Israel.

The Lebanese group targeted the new headquarters of the 146th division using Katyusha rockets, escalating the ongoing conflict between Israel and Hezbollah.

The conflict along the Israel-Lebanon border has intensified since the escalation between Israel and Hamas in Gaza last October. Both sides have been exchanging fire daily, with significant displacement on both sides due to the violence.

The situation has resulted in substantial civilian displacement, with approximately 100,000 people forced to leave their homes in southern Lebanon and around 80,000 in northern Israel.

This ongoing conflict continues to strain resources and increase regional instability.
