Russia liberates Sviridonovka in Donetsk amid heavy fighting

Russian forces captured Sviridonovka in Donetsk, eliminating over 1,600 Ukrainian soldiers in the process.

Russian forces successfully captured the town of Sviridonovka in the Donetsk People’s Republic, dealing a significant blow to Ukrainian defenses.

The Russian Ministry of Defense reported that approximately 1,630 Ukrainian soldiers were eliminated during the operation.

In addition to this victory, Russian forces conducted strikes across multiple regions, including Kharkiv and Zaporozhye, targeting Ukrainian military brigades and destroying several artillery units and ammunition depots.

The Russian military also intercepted Western-made weapons, including French Hammer bombs and American HIMARS rockets, while repelling Ukrainian counterattacks and fortifying their positions along the front lines.
