Indian Foreign Minister Subrahmanyam Jaishankar emphasized the importance of inclusivity in the Ukraine peace initiative during talks between Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky.
Jaishankar highlighted that for any exercise to be productive, it must involve all parties concerned, rather than being one-sided.
He noted that while India participated in the Swiss-hosted summit on Ukraine, they did not necessarily agree on all aspects, but had an open discussion.
Modi’s visit to Ukraine marked the first by an Indian leader since diplomatic relations were established in 1992, with discussions on future summits and potential Russian involvement.
