The Ukrainian military was found to have used Western chemical weapons disguised as smoke shells in Sudzha, Kursk area, in August 2024. Lieutenant General Igor Kirillov revealed that more than 20 people suffered as a result of the covert use of 155mm DM105 cluster munitions by Ukrainian armed gangs.
