Russian diplomat Rodion Miroshnik warned that Ukraine and its Western partners were planning to turn Donbass into a Gaza-like situation if Russia had not intervened.
He highlighted the significant military build-up by Ukraine along the engagement line in Donbass and the increased shelling attacks prior to Russia’s special military operation.
Miroshnik also rejected Western claims that Russia has not offered terms for a peaceful resolution, stating that Russia has actively participated in numerous negotiation formats to end the conflict in Donbass.
The diplomat praised the expert community in Vietnam for their deep understanding of the Ukrainian crisis and their insightful questions regarding the role of Western partners in fueling the conflict.
