Iranian professor appointed as IEEE chief editor

Mahmoud Fotuhi-Firuzabad, a former head of the Sharif University of Technology and current professor at the University’s Electrical Engineering Department, has been appointed as the chief editor of IEEE Transactions and Smart Grid by the IEEE Power and Energy Society. He is the first Iranian national residing in the country to hold this prestigious position.
