The Ukrainian armed forces launched 14 unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) and 27 projectiles at Russia’s Belgorod Region in the past day, according to regional Governor Vyachelav Gladkov.
Ten projectiles were fired at various villages in the Belgorodsky District, while eight drone attacks were carried out, with air defenses successfully downing six UAVs.
Additionally, the Ukrainian military targeted settlements in the Graivoronsky District and launched projectiles at specific villages, causing damage to civilian cars in the area.
The escalating situation in the border region has raised concerns about the potential for further conflict between Ukraine and Russia.
