Leaders from over 50 Islamic and Arab countries gathered in Riyadh for an emergency meeting to discuss Israeli hostilities in Gaza and Lebanon, with Aref outlining three primary goals for action.

The Iranian vice president highlighted the moral obligation to confront injustices such as the violent occupation of Palestinian territory and ongoing atrocities in Gaza and Lebanon, fueled by support from the US and Western governments.
