Iran’s First Vice President Mohammad Reza Aref suggests holding a referendum involving all Palestinians as the sole lasting democratic solution to the Palestinian issue. Aref made the remark at a joint summit of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation and the Arab League in Riyadh.
He emphasizes the importance of unity among Muslim countries to counter the ill-wishers’ conspiracies against Muslims. Aref calls for collective measures to halt Israeli regime’s crimes against Palestinians and their occupation of Palestinian land.
He criticizes the lack of action by the United Nations and the Security Council to stop Israel’s aggression, attributing it to the unwavering support of the US and certain Western countries for the regime. Aref stresses the moral obligation to address the ongoing atrocities in Palestine and Lebanon.
The emergency OIC-Arab League meeting in Riyadh, initiated by Iran, aims to discuss an end to Israeli aggression in Gaza and Lebanon. Aref condemns Israel for violating international law and calls for firm condemnation of their actions, while urging for unwavering support for the Palestinian cause.
