Russias Non-Notification Policy on Intermediate-Range Missiles

Russia doesnt notify others about missile launches due to lack of obligation.

Russia did not provide advance notification to the US or other countries regarding the use of the Oreshnik hypersonic missile on a Ukrainian military-industrial facility, as there are no such obligations, according to Kremlin Spokesman Dmitry Peskov.

No notifications were sent as Russia has no obligation to do so in the case of intermediate-range missiles, Peskov emphasized.

This decision not to notify other countries was made clear by Peskov in response to inquiries about the lack of communication regarding the missile launch.

The Kremlin’s stance reflects Russia’s position on its obligations and communication protocols related to missile launches, particularly in the context of intermediate-range missiles.
