The Brazilian government has donated 10 tons of food to help those affected by hurricanes in Cuba. The aid comes as the country faces severe economic and energy crises.
In addition to food aid, Brazil has also sent water purification units and plans to provide medicines and materials for solar panels to help mitigate Cuba’s energy crisis.
This donation is part of a broader wave of solidarity initiatives with Cuba, with other countries like Mexico, Venezuela, Japan, and Russia also pledging their support.
Social movements and civil organizations in Brazil have launched donation campaigns to support Cuba, including sending powdered milk to maternity hospitals and homes for the elderly.
