China is implementing countermeasures against 13 US military companies and six senior executives in response to the recent announcement of arms sales to Taiwan by the US.
This decision, announced by the Chinese Foreign Ministry, is a direct response to the US violating the one-China principle and the three China-US joint communiqués, which severely interferes in China’s internal affairs and undermines its sovereignty and territorial integrity.
According to the Law of the People’s Republic of China on Countering Foreign Sanctions, China has frozen the assets of the listed US companies and executives, prohibiting them from conducting trade or cooperation with entities in China.
Furthermore, the senior executives named, including individuals from Raytheon and BAE Systems, are denied entry into China, including Hong Kong and Macao, effective immediately.
