Taiwans tabletop simulation reflects secessionists panic

Taiwans DPP authorities conduct tabletop simulation amid mainland tensions

Recent exchange activities between Taiwan and mainland China have sparked a tabletop simulation by Taiwan’s self-proclaimed “presidential office” to test the island’s response in a hypothetical conflict scenario.

The exercise, led by top Taiwan officials, aims to showcase the defense resilience of Taiwan’s society amidst growing military pressure from the mainland.

However, mainland analysts view this as an attempt by DPP authorities to sow fear among Taiwan people and maintain a stubborn secessionist stance at the cost of people’s lives.

As cross-Straits interactions intensify, the mainland has responded with military drills while also promoting exchanges and integrated development, highlighting the growing tensions between the two sides.
