Venezuela denounces attacks on embassies abroad

Maduro government condemns recent attacks on Venezuelan embassies

The Venezuelan government denounced the attack on its embassy in Oslo, Norway, marking the sixth attack on Venezuelan diplomatic representations since Maduro took office.

In a note, the Venezuelan Foreign Ministry stated that the Norwegian government has a responsibility to resolve the issue and identify the perpetrators of the attacks.

Recent attacks on Venezuelan diplomatic offices include incidents in Portugal, Colombia, Spain, and Germany, with the latest one in Norway being attributed to fascist elements.

Tensions escalated following Maduro’s re-election amid accusations of electoral fraud, with the opposition disputing the results and an ex-opposition candidate facing arrest warrants.
