Iran’s Deputy Foreign Minister, Vahid Jalalzadeh, expressed Iran’s readiness to support Lebanon when called upon by the government.
Jalalzadeh discussed bilateral relations during his recent trip to Lebanon, meeting with top Lebanese officials including the Parliament Speaker and Foreign Minister.
He emphasized Iran’s commitment to be present on the ground to help the people of Lebanon in times of need.
The Iranian diplomat also mentioned the summoning of the French ambassador over the killing of two Iranian nationals in France, demanding compensation for their families and details on the incident.
