Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has threatened to resume war on the Gaza Strip if Palestinians do not release Israeli prisoners, while Hamas claims Israeli violations of a ceasefire deal.
Hamas spokesperson Abu Obeida stated that the Israeli military was violating the ceasefire, leading to a delay in the release of prisoners scheduled for a swap.
Netanyahu warned that if the prisoners are not released by Saturday, the ceasefire will end and intense combat will resume.
Despite the ceasefire, Gaza’s Health Ministry reported casualties from Israeli strikes after the ceasefire took effect.
