Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov is set to visit Tehran this week for high-level talks, as announced by the Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesperson Esma’eel Baqayi.
The visit is part of the ongoing consultations between Iran and Russia, focusing on bilateral relations as well as regional and international developments, Baqayi stated on Saturday.
During his trip, Lavrov is expected to engage in discussions with his Iranian counterpart Abbas Araqchi and other senior Iranian officials to address key issues affecting both nations.
Kazem Jalali, Iran’s ambassador to Moscow, confirmed that Lavrov will meet with Araqchi on Tuesday as part of his agenda in Tehran.
