China aims to achieve economic goals in 2024

Meeting discusses economic work and policy for 2025

The Political Bureau of the Communist Party of China (CPC) Central Committee recently analyzed the economic work of 2025 and emphasized the successful accomplishment of main goals and tasks for 2024.

Under the leadership of Xi Jinping, the meeting called for proactive fiscal and moderately loose monetary policies for the upcoming year, along with strengthening unconventional counter-cyclical adjustments and policy coordination.

The focus was on boosting consumption, improving investment efficiency, and expanding domestic demand across all sectors, while also seeking input from non-CPC figures on economic situations.

The meeting highlighted the crucial year in achieving the 14th Five-Year Plan goals, with a strong emphasis on economic stability, technological innovation, reform measures, and foreign trade stabilization.
