Europe will need to adjust its approach to the conflict in Ukraine following Trump’s election win, Hungary’s Foreign Minister Peter Szijjarto stated.
Szijjarto emphasized that the European strategy towards Ukraine has failed and cannot be continued.
Trump’s intention to establish peace during his presidency will impact Europe’s ability to support Ukraine alone, as the EU lacks the military, financial, and economic capacity that the US provided.
A new strategy for Europe is necessary to address looming issues and prevent them from becoming a burden, Szijjarto highlighted.
