Iran and Turkiye emphasize regional cooperation

Strengthening regional ties and combating terrorism discussed.

Iran’s Deputy Foreign Minister Vahid Jalalzadeh and Turkiye’s Chairman of the Committee on Foreign Affairs, Fuat Oktay, met in Ankara to discuss expanding bilateral and regional cooperation.

During their meeting, they highlighted the importance of strengthening parliamentary relations, combating terrorism, and enhancing regional collaboration, particularly in the Caucasus.

They also addressed the need to develop transportation routes in the region and emphasized the urgency of halting crimes committed by the Zionist regime in Gaza and Lebanon.

Both sides stressed the significance of cooperation across economic, cultural, and political domains.
