Iran strongly condemns Israel’s continued aggression against Lebanon, including the deadly airstrike that killed civilians, including a Hezbollah official and his son. The regime has breached the ceasefire agreement over 2000 times, violating Lebanon’s sovereignty and territorial integrity.
Iran’s Foreign Ministry spokesman described Israel’s actions as a blatant violation of international law and human rights. The inaction of ceasefire guarantors in the face of Israel’s behavior proves their promises lack credibility. The silence of international organizations, especially the UN Security Council, on Israel’s crimes in Lebanon and Palestine is also criticized.
The Israeli military targeted a residential building in Beirut, killing at least four people. The airstrike was said to target a Hezbollah member, but informed sources dismissed the claim, stating it was an ordinary member who was martyred. This marks the second such attack on Beirut’s southern suburbs.
After enduring losses in the offensive against Lebanon, Israel agreed to a ceasefire with Hezbollah. However, the occupying forces have continued to violate the ceasefire with airstrikes across Lebanon. Despite Lebanon’s decision to prolong the ceasefire, attacks from Israeli forces persist.
