Iran’s Deputy Minister for Legal and International Affairs, Kazem Gharibabadi, called on Muslim and Arab countries to push for the expulsion of the Israeli regime from the United Nations during a joint ministerial meeting of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) and the Arab League in Riyadh.
Gharibabadi expressed gratitude to Saudi Arabia for convening the summit to address the Israeli aggression against Gaza and Lebanon, highlighting the catastrophic situations in Gaza as a shame for humanity.
The Iranian official criticized the unwavering support of the United States and Western countries for Israel’s continued crimes in the region, including war crimes, crimes against humanity, ethnic cleansing, racial discrimination, and genocide against the Palestinian people.
He emphasized the Palestinian nation’s inherent right to defend itself and resist occupation and aggression, stating that this is a legitimate right that does not require permission from any external party.
