Iran unveils new satellites on Space Technology Day

Iran reveals upgraded satellites to enhance space technology.

Iran celebrated National Space Technology Day by unveiling three new satellites in Tehran. The event was attended by high-ranking officials including President Masoud Pezeshkian.

The showcased satellites included upgraded versions of Pars-1 and Pars-2, as well as the Navak communications satellite. The Pars-1 satellite now offers improved performance, while Pars-2 provides higher imaging accuracy.

The Navak communications satellite aims to enhance telecommunications at high altitudes. Iran plans to launch two more satellites before the end of the current Iranian calendar year.

In addition to the satellites in development, eight are fully built and ready for launch, with a total of 25 satellites planned. The advancements mark Iran’s commitment to space technology innovation.
