Irans Foreign Minister discusses key issues in Pakistan

Araghchi and General Munir discuss bilateral relations and regional security.

Iran’s Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi met with Pakistan’s Chief of Army Staff General Asim Munir to discuss bilateral relations and regional security. They focused on defense-military cooperation and ensuring security along the common borders.

Araghchi is also scheduled to meet with Pakistan’s Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar during his official visit to Pakistan. High-ranking delegations from both countries will also meet under the chairmanship of the foreign ministers.

The discussions between Araghchi and General Munir touched upon the latest developments in the region, emphasizing the importance of maintaining strong ties between Iran and Pakistan. Both sides expressed commitment to enhancing cooperation in various fields.
