Irans Nuclear Chief Warns of Immediate Response to IAEA Resolutions

Iran ready to respond to UN resolutions on nuclear program

Iran’s nuclear chief Mohammad Eslami warned of an immediate response to any resolution by the UN nuclear agency against the country’s peaceful atomic program. He emphasized that Iran will advance its nuclear activities within the framework of its national interests.

European powers are pushing for a new anti-Iran resolution at the IAEA’s Board of Governors meeting next week. Eslami stated that such resolutions will establish the right for Iran to take countermeasures.

Eslami stressed that Iran has always followed the path of interaction and honored its obligations under the JCPOA before it was derailed by the United States. He noted that Iran has proven the peaceful nature of its nuclear program to the world.

Eslami highlighted that Iran’s nuclear program has been used as an excuse to impose tough sanctions on the country. He emphasized that Iran enjoys nuclear technology built on endogenous research under the supervision of the IAEA.
