The Kremlin is closely monitoring reports of Europe’s plans to deploy troops to Ukraine as they raise concerns, Russian Presidential Spokesman Dmitry Peskov told reporters, adding that the reports were sometimes contradictory.
The Daily Telegraph reported that Kiev’s European allies intended to suggest to Washington to deploy at least 30,000 service members from European countries to Ukraine.
This potential deployment of NATO countries’ troops to Ukraine is of particular importance in terms of security, raising significant concerns for Russia, the Kremlin spokesman said at a briefing.
