Russian air defenses shot down 121 Ukrainian unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) over 13 Russian regions, marking the largest attack since the beginning of 2025.
The drones were destroyed over various regions including Bryansk, Ryazan, Kursk, Saratov, Rostov, Moscow, Belgorod, Voronezh, Tula, Oryol, Lipetsk, Crimea, and Leningrad.
Debris from a downed drone caused a fire in a private house in Ryazan, with no reported injuries. Response efforts are underway to address debris in Kursk and restore electricity in affected areas.
Temporary flight restrictions were imposed at several airports in Russia due to the drone attacks, impacting operations in Kazan, Nizhnekamsk, Penza, Samara, Saratov, and Ufa.
