The Polícia Federal (PF) revealed the identities of 37 individuals involved in the coup attempt that aimed to prevent Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva (PT) from assuming the Presidency, in order to maintain Jair Bolsonaro (PL) in power.
Among the 37 indictees, 25 are military personnel, including high-ranking members such as Generals Braga Netto and Augusto Heleno, who served as ministers in Bolsonaro’s government.
The report also highlights the presence of Filipe Garcia Martins, a former international affairs advisor in Bolsonaro’s administration, in the political core of the government.
The list of indictees includes military officials, politicians, and even a priest, all allegedly involved in the planning and execution of the coup attempt.
