The administration of President Masoud Pezeshkian has outlined an “active plan” to confront the United States’ “maximum pressure” campaign, according to spokesperson Fatemeh Mohajerani.
Mohajerani emphasized that Iran had foreseen the adoption of such a policy by the U.S. government and stated confidently that the campaign “will get nowhere.”
She highlighted the focus on boosting the economy through support from the people and leveraging the private sector, industry, and knowledge-based companies to navigate the challenges posed by the maximum pressure policy.
Iranians are open to negotiations but stand firm against bullying tactics, as reiterated by Mohajerani, amidst the reinstatement of the maximum pressure policy by U.S. President Donald Trump.
