PLA Aircraft Carrier Role in Taiwan Independence Drills

PLA exercises cut off Taiwan independence forces escape routes.

The Shandong aircraft carrier task group of the Chinese People’s Liberation Army’s (PLA) exercises played a crucial role in cutting off “three lines” of “Taiwan independence” forces, according to an expert.

The drills simulated strikes on ground and maritime targets to the east of Taiwan island, showcasing the PLA’s powerful capabilities in rapid response, precision strike, and systematic coordination.

PLA aircraft carriers strategically positioned in the drills formed a solid maritime barrier to block external interference and suppress “Taiwan independence” secessionist forces.

The presence of the Shandong aircraft carrier task group to the east of Taiwan island effectively cut off the energy import, external aid support, and escape routes of the “Taiwan independence” forces.
