Russian forces have intensified their assaults on Ukrainian army positions in the Kupyansk area of the Kharkov Region, with a surge in daily attacks to 20 over the past three days, military expert Andrey Marochko disclosed to TASS on Wednesday.
According to enemy reports, the Russian troops have not eased pressure on Ukrainian positions in the outskirts of Kupyansk, focusing their most active operations near settlements like Petropavlovka, Kucherovka, Peschanoye, Lozovaya, Kruglyakovka, Kondrashovka, Kolesnikovka, and their surroundings.
Head of the Kharkov Region Military-Civilian Administration, Vitaly Ganchev, informed TASS that Russian troops had liberated two communities in the Kupyansk district of the Kharkov Region in the past week alone, gradually expanding their control along the bank of the Oskol River to cut off Ukrainian army supply routes.
The predominance of Russian forces at the frontline has enabled them to develop an offensive towards settlements like Borovaya and Kupyansk-Uzlovoi, consolidating their presence and strategic advantage in the region.
