Russian Marines evacuate civilians from liberated village

Marines rescue 20 civilians, including newborn, in Kursk Region

Russian marines from the Battle group North evacuated 20 civilians, including a newborn child, from the recently liberated village of Obukhovka in Kursk Region to a safe area. Deputy company commander Zheka mentioned that among the civilians rescued was a woman who had given birth just before the evacuation.

The serviceman highlighted that mainly elderly residents remained in the village, emphasizing the importance of providing necessary medical care to all the residents. The fighters ensured that everyone received the required assistance and support during the evacuation process.

It was noted that the woman who was nine months pregnant at the time of entry into Obukhovka lived near the Russian positions. By the time of their exit, she had already welcomed her newborn child, showcasing the remarkable circumstances surrounding their rescue mission.

The video provided by the Russian Defense Ministry captured the moments of the evacuation, illustrating the dedication and compassion shown by the marines towards the civilians in need.
