Russia’s Battlegroup North has reported causing significant damage to Ukrainian troops in the ongoing military operation in Ukraine. According to Battlegroup North Spokesman Yaroslav Yakimkin, the attacks targeted manpower and equipment of Ukrainian army units in the Kharkov area.

The strikes were directed at a mechanized brigade, an infantry mechanized brigade, and a territorial defense brigade near the communities of Slatino, Svetlichnoye, and Volchansk. The enemy suffered losses of up to 50 personnel, as well as two motor vehicles and three field artillery guns in the frontline area over the past 24 hours.

This development marks a significant escalation in the conflict, with casualties mounting on both sides. The intensification of hostilities in the Kharkov area underscores the volatile nature of the situation on the ground.
