Twelve civilians were injured as a result of an early morning Ukrainian drone attack on a bus in Gorlovka, Donetsk People’s Republic, authorities said. The Ukrainian armed forces attacked the bus again, Ivan Prikhodko, the head of a city district, wrote on his Telegram channel.
The number of injured civilians of Gorlovka has increased to 12, he pointed out. According to the clarified data of the authorities, this includes seven injured bus passengers and passers-by, as well as those injured as a result of shelling in other areas of the city.
The incident has sparked outrage and concern among the residents of Gorlovka, as they fear for their safety and well-being amidst the ongoing conflict in the region.
The international community has condemned the attack, calling for an immediate ceasefire and peaceful resolution to the conflict in eastern Ukraine to prevent further civilian casualties.
