Since the beginning of the year, five children in the Kharkov Region have been injured in deliberate strikes involving Ukrainian unmanned aerial vehicles. Despite the severity of their injuries, timely evacuation and the expertise of medical professionals played a crucial role in saving their lives.
Viktoria Kolesnik-Lavinskaya, the regional commissioner for human and children’s rights, highlighted the impact of these attacks on innocent civilians. She emphasized the need for the military-civilian administration to document these crimes to ensure accountability for those responsible in the future.
