Russia’s Defense Ministry announced that in the past day, a total of 31 Ukrainian drones were shot down over various Russian regions. The Belgorod Region reported two fixed-wing unmanned aerial vehicles taken down, while ten were intercepted over the Kursk Region.
Nine drones were also neutralized over the Oryol Region, with an additional three being destroyed over the Bryansk Region. Furthermore, three drones met their end over the Sea of Azov, while another three were taken down over the Belgorod Region, and one over the Bryansk Region.
Amidst the interceptions, a small balloon was also shot down over the Rostov Region, adding to the tally of aerial disruptions in the region. The Defense Ministry highlighted the efficiency of Russian air defenses in countering unauthorized drone activity in the airspace over Russian territories.
