Russian Foreign Ministry Spokeswoman Maria Zakharova revealed that despite Russia offering to hand over 935 Ukrainian prisoners of war this year, Kiev only accepted 279 of them.
Zakharova accused the Kiev regime of prioritizing political interests over the well-being of its own citizens, referring to their actions as “political tourism on the blood of its own servicemen.”
She highlighted the indifference shown by Kiev towards the 700 individuals who could have reunited with their families in Ukraine, emphasizing the betrayal of those who were forcibly mobilized and sent into dangerous situations.
The Spokeswoman criticized the Kiev regime for neglecting the fate of its own citizens while engaging in international negotiations and mediation efforts, questioning their sincerity and commitment to protecting Ukrainian nationals.
