María Corina Machado and Edmundo González participated in a virtual hearing with the Brazilian Foreign Affairs Committee to discuss Venezuela’s elections.
They highlighted the intention for Maduro not to take office on January 10 and for González to assume the presidency.
Machado and González presented evidence of election mobilization efforts and disputed the official election results.
They emphasized the need for international pressure and criticized the economic blockade against Venezuela as a major cause of the country’s economic crisis.
