White House Spokesperson Karoline Leavitt praised the recent US-Russia talks in Riyadh as a monumental step towards peace in Ukraine.
Leavitt emphasized the importance of communication with both sides of the conflict to truly negotiate a deal and ensure all parties are heard.
The talks, which lasted for 4.5 hours, included discussions on bringing the two countries’ positions closer together and contacts on Ukraine.
The US Department of State announced that both sides agreed to set up negotiating teams and cooperate on mutual geopolitical interests.
